Position Overview

JBRSOFT Limited is seeking a Project Manager (Consultancy Position on Laravel) to lead the development of new modules and feature enhancements for an ongoing product focused on AMR containment. This role will be critical in shaping the technical direction of the product, guiding the development team, and ensuring timely delivery aligned with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the internal software development team and stakeholders to:
    • Develop detailed micro-activity plans for new module development.
    • Design scalable and efficient database schemas aligned with product architecture.
    • Guide developers in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code following Laravel and PHP best practices.
    • Integrate multi-language capabilities and dynamic data entry forms into the system.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to the development team.
  • Ensure rigorous testing, debugging, and performance optimization throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams of developers, designers, and QA personnel.
  • Establish and monitor a realistic development timeline, ensuring milestones are met.
  • Maintain clear documentation of processes, architecture, and technical decisions.
  • Convert business requirements into technical specifications and actionable plans. Besides, provide regular status updates, reports, and demos to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
Technical Skills:
  • Strong experience in Laravel, PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, and RESTful APIs.
  • Proven experience in database design, system architecture, and modular software development.
  • Proficiency in integrating multi-language support and creating dynamic form-based interfaces.
  • Understanding of clean coding principles, code optimization, and software security.
Project Management & Soft Skills:
  • Prior experience in managing software modules or full-stack projects, preferably in public health or enterprise applications.
  • Ability to break down tasks into detailed micro-activities and monitor deliverables.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly in a hybrid/remote team environment.
  • Comfortable with client-facing interactions and ensuring deliverables align with project goals
Work Schedule & Flexibility
  • This is a consultancy position, the consultant does not need to attend the office daily.
  • Presence at JBRSOFT office is required during key phases such as micro-activity planning and database design.
  • Flexible working hours, including availability for in-person meetings on Fridays or Saturdays, as per mutual agreement.
Duration & Compensation
  • Contract Period: 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.
  • Remuneration: Competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
