Dr. Amany Ayub has completed Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (M.B.B.S) from Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College and Hospital under Dhaka University in January 2010 and Master of Public Health (MPH) from National Institute of Preventive and Social Medicine (NIPSOM) under Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in January 2015. She has more than 12 years professional experience and 7 years experiences in USAID funded programs in different National, International and Humanitarian Organizations as Technical Officer, Project Coordinator, Technical Advisor and lastly Project Manager, Health/ Deputy Chief of Party. She has more than 3 year’s experiences of working in emergency response especially in COVID-19 pandemic crisis (national preparedness and response planning, collaboration with Government counterparts, internal and external stakeholders, adapting and developing Guidelines/ Training modules/ SOP, job-aids, videos, hospital Signage & IEC materials, Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) practices, health system strengthening, hospital readiness assessment, development of hospital emergency response plan, simulation exercise in urban health centers, procurement of machineries & hospital equipment to provide patients with medical tests and 24/7 emergency services and COVID-19 immunization system strengthening), also worked in the Program’s Global Health Security Agenda (GHSA), focused on AMR containment, specifically by supporting multisectoral coordination, IPC, and antimicrobial stewardship (AMS) on AMR. She is potentials in project planning, budget, management, implementation, strengthening health system, supportive supervision, developing guidelines/ SOP, job-aid, IEC materials, adapting training materials, building capacity and mentoring of health service providers to ensure quality care. In her total 12 years of work experiences, she worked in USAID PROVASH Project implemented by IFRC, USAID MTaPS Program implemented by Management Sciences for Health (MSH), USAID Shukhi Jibon Project implemented by Pathfinder International and USAID Challenge TB project Bangladesh implemented by MSH. Dr. Amany has been assisting JBRSOFT with business development, infection prevention & control, antimicrobial stewardship, the field operation of antimicrobial surveillance and scientific writing.
