The One Health National Antimicrobial Use Surveillance System (OHASS) stands as a landmark achievement in Bangladesh’s journey toward digital health transformation. Developed by JBRSOFT Limited, supported by the One Health initiative of the World Health Organization (WHO) for the Directorate General of Drug Administration (DGDA), Bangladesh, OHASS is a pioneering national platform that unifies antimicrobial usage (AMU) data across the country. It empowers stakeholders with smart, evidence-based decision-making tools in the fight against Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR).
Accessible at www.amusurveillance.com, OHASS delivers a secure, intelligent, and fully automated data management solution. Pharmaceutical companies and regulatory bodies can seamlessly collect, validate, and report AMU data through a single digital interface — ensuring transparency, accountability, and nationwide coordination in real time.
Turning Vision into Digital Reality
Bangladesh required a centralized, efficient, and scalable system to track antimicrobial use. Guided by WHO’s One Health vision and led by DGDA, JBRSOFT translated this need into reality by designing and developing OHASS — a customized, user-friendly digital surveillance platform.

Collaborative Implementation
OHASS represents a collaborative effort involving DGDA officials, Denmark Veterinary and Food Administration (DVFA) & WHO experts, pharmaceutical industry representatives, and JBRSOFT engineers. Through nationwide training workshops, end users were empowered to operate the system confidently, ensuring consistent and reliable data submission across all participating institutions.
