An orientation session on PViMS and WHO VigiFlow–UMC database interoperability was conducted to enhance understanding of pharmacovigilance data integration and reporting mechanisms. The session focused on how the Pharmacovigilance Monitoring System (PViMS) can effectively exchange data with VigiFlow, a global database managed by the Uppsala Monitoring Centre (UMC) under the World Health Organization (WHO). This interoperability enables seamless and standardized reporting of adverse drug events, strengthens regulatory oversight, and contributes to global drug safety monitoring efforts. The orientation aimed to build technical capacity among stakeholders, promote data-driven decision-making, and support Bangladesh’s alignment with international pharmacovigilance standards.
